In my humble opinion- Alberta, Canada is a terrific and exciting place. I never visited Canada as a child, not once. Also, in school- all 12 years of school- no teacher or curriculum ever taught me about the wonders of Canada. To me, it was a huge wide open part of land above me that was a mystery. What happened there? What was it like?
Because of work, we got to visit Canada for the first time about 4 or 5 years ago. We drove through British Columbia, Alberta, even had the chance to drive all the way over into Ontario and Quebec. It was spectacular. Each province different from the next- as far as appearance, people and of course food.
Our family is particularly fond of Calgary and the Canadian Rockies. Today I finally decided that my favorite place, FAVORITE in all the WORLD, is Jasper Park in the Canadian Rockies. I mean, sure, I talk about how awesome that place is all the time but now you know, I really mean it. You need to go visit, and when you are done, swing on over to Calgary for the Stampede and some amazing thunder storms over Alberta's amazing prairie.
I'm no writer, so I can't possibly even try to tell you how stunning it all is- please do go see it for yourself.
From Calgary, Alberta.
