Love and acknowledgement

In the summer we like to camp a lot, and it's really something we look forward to. This summer we've done only about 17 days of camping. It's frustrating because we keep running into problems that need solving with autos or computers or simply getting wifi so we can send client photos.

We should be camping right now, but we are in Montana waiting for yet another issue to be solved, and since we needed to have cell reception we needed to find a hotel. Driving along the freeway, we spotted a sign that said "Hotel ahead, water park inside!"

Well, you know where this is going. We decided to forgo our usual hotwire rates and pay out of pocket for this water park hotel. The kids went nutso with happiness which is always such a nice reward when I am feeling frustrated or out of sorts.

Fast forward a few hours and there we are with the kids going down the water slides. I was feeling the stress all melt away and it was wonderful acting like a kid, like there were no worries in the world.  This sweet feeling was only enhanced when Isabelle turned to me and whispered, "Mom. When you die, I'm going to write on your tombstone, 'Best mother in the whole world. As in, the most fun.'"

HAHA!
