This morning I was all by myself going from Paris to Rouen on a train to visit a friend. I really felt pretty awesome. Do you ever have those days when you're like, "Man, this is awesome. I'm awesome!" Right now I'm, hoping you are thinking, "yes," so that I feel less conceited.
So I noticed that some of the other passengers' eyes were lingering on me a bit longer than normal. I chalked it up to my unusual awesomeness, and I hate to say but I even thought, maybe the French like red heads (unproven, and in fact this is a whole blog post on its own).
A few minutes passed and I spent them looking out the train window at the pretty scenery. I happened to catch my reflection in the mirror. THE HORROR. My left eye had basically exploded all the eye makeup I had applied earlier and just--- involuntarily spread it willy-nilly all over my eye area. WHY? Why does this happen randomly? I think my left eye is periodically allergic to morning air and in protest to its exposure to said morning air, bursts all makeup forth onto face.
Really, I write this as a warning to all you other redheads out there on trains thinking you are abnormally awesome on Monday mornings. Consider yourself warned. There IS mascara all over your face.
