We find ourselves once again in a green, luscious campsite, enjoying nature and having fun on our bikes. The four bikes have been a great addition to the family. I noticed Isabelle's already muscular calves are becoming quite a bit more chiseled.
As are my abs, but that's neither here nor there.
Where was I? Ah yes, a description of our surroundings.
It's beautiful here but there is ONE TEENSIE downside. That would be:
The planes flying overhead, either on approach or taking off from the nearby major international airport.
Every two minutes, give or take.
But we are trying to keep focusing on the positives, as there are many. And even though when we try to read stories aloud to the kids it takes twice or thrice as long because the planes completely overpower our voices, it's like, oh well! It's pretty here!
It seems like Mondays are a good time to show pictures of what we are currently doing, so yeah, here are some. You'll see us spending time at our friends' house, cooking and holding their cute baby, hammocking, pedicuring, biking, driving past the space needle, and building ridiculously enormous fires.
Tip of the week: if you are at the store and your kids are begging you to try out the new gigantic marshmallows? Don't give in! They are sub-par.
Are you guys ready for a terrific week? Oh sorry, what? I couldn't hear your response. ANOTHER FREAKING PLANE FLEW BY.
