In Singapore, I spent 4 days wandering around, occasionally taking some family pictures for clients, eating good food, and basically just really really missing my family. It was very hot and humid, so I broke every hour down into 30 minutes of walking around outside and 30 minutes of inside, air conditioned relief.
Sometimes as I walked around Singapore I'd suddenly come out of my thoughts and find myself in another gigantic, super posh shopping mall. Shopping is what people do in Singapore, besides sweat, and the malls can get overwhelming. Especially for somebody like me, who is a recovering shopaholic and who doesn't have the space for much. I kept wondering why I was always ending up in a danged mall.
Then I realized, as I once again found myself on the 4th floor or the basement of any given ginorma-mall, that it was the food courts that were beckoning me in. The day I came to this realization was the day I ate 4 lunches. In different malls.
And those were some super delicious lunches. You can't beat a Singaporean food stall.
