It all began one night, when I woke with a start. I had woken with excitement, and when I calmed enough to think about what I was dreaming... This is what I pictured.
I pictured the Nielsons on a bed in the middle of nowhere. I pictured the colors and the feel; happiness.
I dreamt about the giggles and smiles, the high jumps into the air. I remembered seeing Tyler taking it all in through his video camera.
I emailed Stephanie the next day. I said, "We are doing this!" A video shoot. A bed. Feather Pillows. A family of six. Perfect.
One month later, on the date we pre-arranged, it was pouring rain. Tyler and I had talked and discussed and plotted and planned... all to make my dream come true. I could NOT accept that it was going to rain.
We arrived at the location and it was pouring. We got the bed out and set up in the pouring rain. Tyler and I were not going to give up- Neither were the Nielsons.
Stephanie and Christian's family drove up... in the pouring rain. All the way up the canyon. And when they stepped out of the car?
We made the dream happen. Tyler behind his lens, being the video genius... me laughing at the kids and smiling when I overhead from Jane, "This is the best photoshoot ever!"
How could I have known Stephanie would love feathers so much? She did snow angels in the feathers. Tyler filmed the lovebirds rolling around together in them. I could not, could NOT have been more content.
Nienie looked so happy; Christian was wholly engaged in the event. Really, the giggles from them all, and Tyler and I included, gave me happy goosebumps.
