A synopsis

My day was kind of less-than-stellar.

Sure, there were high points, but there were also very lowwwwww points.

High point: Went to the pool with cousins in the morning. Kids had fun, I relaxed a lot and played in the pool, too.

Low point: when wearing a bathing suit, my food baby looks really gigantic.

High point: Ate really healthy food

Low point: Consumed an abnormal amount of fats, sugar and calories.

High point: Realized I had a whole 4 hour block wherein I could pound out so much work it would be amazing.

Low point: Realized I needed a whole 4 week block to get caught up.

High point: Was really kind and patient with my overtired and cranky children.

Low point: Maybe I slammed the car doors and stomped off in a huff a few times when they didn't listen. To.a.word.I.said.

High point: Thinking about how hot Tyler is. Body temperature rose a lot it's really none of your business.

Low point: Didn't get to hang out with Ty today, which is really unusual.

Are there days for you guys, when you just kind of want to start all over? This day was one for me. But you know what's terrific? Tomorrow I have another chance. I think I'll start the day off by saying to my kids, "Remember how mommy acted like a brat yesterday? Yah, sorry about that.... my bad!"

And then I'll hug 'em a lot. They love hugs. In fact, maybe we'll just hug all day and never even get out of our pj's. Maybe I'll count up the number of "I love you's" Isaac says to me. Just for fun.

I'm excited about tomorrow.

Here's Gavin, a frequent face on the blog.  He's 20 months old now, and so tiny and perfect.
