Sick of hearing of our trip yet? Too bad.
So while in NYC Tyler and I celebrated our 8th year of marriage. We kept remarking about how it seems so much longer than 8 years. In a good way.
If you ever meet either Tyler or me, or better yet, both of us- be sure to ask about our dating story. It is sure to be entertaining. I'm sure while we tell you the story, you will see the following occur:
Tyler will claim he loved me very shortly after we met.
I will try and deny the fact that on our first date, I sat and shredded my napkin to bits because I was so nervous.
Tyler will mention how I broke his collar bone and then dumped him the next day.
I will act very, very remorseful about this.
Tyler will laugh hard because he likes to tease me about how I broke both his bones and his heart.
I will try to redeem myself by pointing out that we got back together again.
Tyler will point out that although we did get back together again, we would only break up again a week later because I was leaving for Spain.
I will probably start to cry.
Tyler will then tell you how we passionately reunited 8 months later.
And I will recount how dizzily in love I fell for him.
And then I'll go on and on about his wonderfulness.
And then I'll follow that up by how happy he makes me, how perfect he is, how sorry I am that I broke his collarbone (and his heart).
I swear, it's a good story, just ask.
